网上买球软件 will hold its 14th Annual 乳房 Cancer 5K on Saturday, October 14 in beautiful 所罗门 Island. Proceeds from the event will benefit the 网上买球软件 Cancer Center’s 谢尔登•E. Goldberg Center for 乳房 护理 and its continued affiliation with Duke 健康. Duke 健康 is a national leader in cancer care, opening doors to clinical trials and research for local patients close to home. The 乳房 护理 Center was the first multidisciplinary breast center in Southern Maryland and gives local women and men access to an experienced team of breast health experts and the most sophisticated technology available today.
With higher mortality rates for breast cancer in Calvert County versus the state of Maryland and the United States, the 5K helps raise critical funds to support keeping breast care services close to home. Since the inception of the event in 2010, the 5K has raised more than $400,000 to support the critical work of the 谢尔登•E. Goldberg Center for 乳房 护理.
This year’s 5K event introduces new sponsorship levels and benefits, including a hospitality tent for all sponsor registrants, which will include water, 零食, tables and chairs, a special photo opportunity and more!
Foundation Board Trustee and 5K Committee Chair Barry Friedman, said “Together, we have an opportunity to make this year’s 5K better than ever. Come early and don’t miss out on fun! Race check-in begins at 7 a.m. and the program begins at 8 a.m. at the 所罗门 Medical Office Building located at 14090 所罗门 Island Road. To take advantage of the $40 early bird rate and a guaranteed t-shirt, participants should register by September 24.
